I plan to go to Portugal and Spain, this summer or fall for about three or four weeks in each. I'll be taking 'local' in country tours or not my first choice, but perhaps a Gate One combo tour and staying after it in the place(s) I really like.
Has anybody rented an Air B&B or anything similar in either country, that you would recommend? I'm not interested in posh, just clean, comfortable and a good location or convenient public transportation.
I would appreciate having a companion traveler for company. We could be sharing quarters, but not beds. I'm easy going and more than self sufficient.
