| Comments | I'm an experienced backpacker planning a 3-week trip to Mozambique sometime between 18 October and 16 November 2024. Places of interest are Maputo, Tofo, Vilankulo, Mozambique Island, and a quick detour across the border to Kruger NP as it sounds much easier and cheaper than going to the national parks in Mozambique. Also thinking of Chimanimani for hiking, and Ponta d'Ouro for dolphins and snorkeling. I travel lightly, using public transport, and staying in private rooms in hostels or simple guesthouses/hotels, but eat in cafes/local restaurants.
